SPD carries over 18 years of experience in managing and operating Urban Primary Health Centres (UPHCs) in the urban slums of Dehradun and Haridwar, in partnership with the State Health Department under the National Health Mission (NHM).
Through these UPHCs, SPD has worked to ensure access to essential healthcare services for underserved and unreached populations living in urban slum communities.
SPD has successfully implemented Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) services for seven years across Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Champawat and Bageshwar districts.
The MMUs were designed to bridge gaps in healthcare access for remote and underserved rural communities by bringing essential services closer to people in hard-to-reach areas.
